John F. Groom
Founder and CEO

John has been involved in digital technology since 1996 with the launch of the Positive Press website, which garnered quite a bit of publicity. In 1998 he became the 4th full-time employee of AnnuityNet, the first company in the world to sell variable annuities online.
In addition to developing a wide range of products as an entrepreneur, he has extensive experience dealing with compliance and regulatory issues in technology and other industries. Before starting Global Fast Fit, he had on-the-ground business experience in Japan, Brazil, Indonesia, the US, and Poland. In 2023/24 he spent 14 months traveling around the world to set up the Global Fast Fit infrastructure, visiting 32 locations in 11 countries.
John has 9 software patents, generally focused on data interoperability.

Prudhvi Nag

Prudhvi has been with Groom Ventures since 2019. He leads all aspects of the technical development of DataUniversa, as well as the related app and website development projects, oversees a local tech team, and manages outside technical contractors.
He has a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science & Applications and a Masters in Business.
Previously, he was a Software Engineer at Sigma Info Solutions, Bangalore.
Bryan Matott
General Manager
USA
Bryan has been with Groom Ventures since 2020. He manages user interface, design, research, and technical coordination in the development of DataUniversa and related apps and websites, as well as coordinating with local teams around the world on data ingestion.
Previously, he held the role of Lead Designer for three years at Rome Technologies, a management software developer. He has a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design.

Dr. James Muchiri
Chief Medical Officer
Kenya
Dr. Muchiri graduated with a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from Moi University in 2018. Since then he has worked at Machakos Level 5 as a medical officer, Nyahururu County Referral Hospital as a medical officer and Kimanjo Sub County Hospital as the medical superintendent.
He has developed a chatbot for one of our data collection programs in Kenya, and generally oversees the data programs in Kenya. He oversees our medical research programs working within the Kenyan medical and healthcare community. He also has overall responsibility for the health of any participant in a GFF or Datauniversa data collection project.
Abigael Rotich

Abby is a registered nurse and was the valedictorian student at the Kabarak School of Health Science. She manages the largest Global Fast Fit team, in Kenya. She has overall responsibility for budgeting, team coordination, and, jointly with Dr. Muchiri, health and safety issues.

Sanyu Roberts
Regional Manager
Uganda
Sanyu is in charge of the partnership with COBAP gym in Kampala, as well as managing GFF athletes and local media production, and generally overseeing efforts in Uganda.
Fitness helped Sanyu overcome addiction to drugs and alcohol. He is a family therapist by training and also runs a community based organization, Rescue Foundation for Children at Risk.

Adhi has a master's degree in Art Research for Visual Communication. He joined Groom Venture in early 2022 after successfully organizing various charity VGF events and art production for IAH.
Adhi is in charge of webpage design and other design projects.
Sean Suvanadesa

Sean is in charge of keeping track of the vast amount of data collected by the team throughout the world. He also manages communications efforts and social media. Sean’s background is in media and event production. He studied communications and public relations at Bangkok University before starting his own company.

Charles owns Ironville Gym in Dongguan, a GFF Partner gym. He studied exercise science in the US, and is experienced in organizing functional fitness competitions. His credentials include ACE(American council on exercise) certified personal trainer, USA weightlifting association level 1 trainer, spartan race sgx coach and Crossfit level 1 trainer.

Peter is in charge of data ingestion in Kampala, working with the local team on improving technical scores and keeping our data efforts on track. In addition to his skills as a videographer, he was the winner of the Wakini Kuria Prize for Children’s Literature 2021.

Umar has been with Global Fast Fit since 2024. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Previously, he was the head of finance in Local Mobile Franchise.
Kelvin Kairu
GFF Ambassador and Data Associate

Kairu, the very first GFF world record holder, has a BA in History and economics from Egerton University, and has also studied Kenya sign language. His family is deeply involved in GFF and he leads several Ai pilot programs in the Njoro area involving a kindergarten and a micro store. He is also part of the Nomads group and responsible for general outreach to the community.

Simon attended Rift Valley Institute of Science and Technology. He owns GFF affiliated Winsim Gym in Njoro and is leading an effort to use Ai to improve image modeling within his gym. He was gored by a bull while working in the field and used exercise for a full recovery.

Andrew is the leader of the visual communications for GFF in Kenya. A graduate of Moi University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Andrew makes sure that the visual documentation efforts of our data collection run smoothly.

Brenda, also known as the Ring Beast, is a 20-year-old Ugandan boxer in the Flyweight category. She has been boxing for nearly three years and competes in the Uganda Boxing Champions League while also attending school. Passionate and determined, she dreams of representing Uganda globally and winning gold. She represents GFF at boxing tournaments and will be working with the community at the GFF/COBAP Community Center. She was selected as the first GFF athlete due to her positive attitude and outgoing personality.

Esther is a high-energy, social, and outgoing young woman with a deep love for fitness. A natural leader, she was her school’s Head Girl from Form 2 to Form 4. Inspired by her uncle Kelvin, the GFF ambassador, Esther embraced fitness early. When she’s not training or leading sessions, Esther supports her family by assisting in her mother’s shop, which is a GFF affiliated Ai pilot program, and helping watch over her little sister Anita, the GFF Mascot.

Hima Sai Peddesigari is a budding Full Stack and Flutter developer with a strong foundation in Python, C, and electronics engineering. A recent Computer Engineering graduate (BTech in Electronics & Communications, GPA 9.5/10), Hima Sai combines technical skills with creativity, demonstrated through projects like an automated toll gate system and a Python-based art generator. With hands-on experience as a Python Developer at HDLC Technologies, she brings practical expertise in coding, debugging, and version control.

GFF Musician

Ethan is a natural-born musician with effortless swagger. Known for his dapper style—long-sleeved shirts neatly tucked into uniform trousers, complete with a bow tie—he’s the kid with the coolest haircut and a bright smile framed by two missing front teeth
Before March 2025, Ethan had never touched a recorder. With consistent dedication, training and GFF support, he mastered the instrument and went on to win local, regional, and eventually the national tournament to be recognized as the best recorder player in his age in Kenya.
Ethan’s journey has been fueled by the unwavering support of his father, often seen in Njoro town carrying his son on his shoulders on the way to recorder practice during weekends and holidays

Anita is a vibrant 6 year old with remarkable passion for fitness. She demonstrates a natural love for staying active and trying new things. Her dedication for joy and movement make her an inspiring role model for both the young and old and a huge source of joy for the GFF global team. Anita is deeply embedded in the GFF family; her uncle is a GFF Ambassador, her mother runs a GFF affiliated microstore and her older sister is a GFF trainer, and she, like Ethan, attended a GFF sponsored kindergarten.
